Discovery is certainly poised to make an impression on the indie music scene, with members from bands Vampire Weekend and Ra Ra Riot. The band features electronic effects heavily, perhaps most noticeably on its slightly obnoxious, Auto-tuned cover of "I Want You Back". "Osaka Loop Line" and "Orange Shirt" are interesting, bouncy tracks that are worth checking out. It's quirky, and infused with traces of white-boy R&B. I'm personally not sure how I feel about this band -- I like what they're doing for the most part, but something about the electronic genre is growing a bit weary for me.
