Adele certainly has a remarkable voice (and personality), especially for someone who is almost too young to legally drink. "19" comes off as very confident for a first album and overall is soulful and upbeat, even when the singer is remarking on the uncertainties in love. "Right as Rain", "Chasing Pavements" and "Make You Feel My Love" are the standouts. While Adele already has a good amount of personal style, I'm excited to see what she continues to do with music and would love the possibilities of her branching out into less pop-y, more R&B territory. The songwriting just needs a little time to catch up with the power of her vocals.
