I've had Dark Was The Night sitting on my hard drive to listen to for months and have just got around to it tonight. First time through and my jaw hurts from the amount of times it's dropped. Dirty Projectors, The Books, Jose Gonzalez, Feist, Ben Gibbard, Bon Iver, Grizzly Bear, The National, Yeasayer, The Decemberists, Iron & Wine... Oh, and that's just the first disc. It's 31 songs with all diverse artists and it just seems to fit together. I'll digest and come up with a full review soon. But don't wait. Check it out!
