The Lost. The Sick. The Sacred. The title alone should be enough to send shivers down your spine. But lets take it a step further. Just take a glance at the cover. Your immediate reaction should be an All Shall Perish knock-off or some cheesy growly band that can't stay on beat to save their lives. But oh how the cover lies. Instead, each song is a masterpiece unto itself. With simple yet monstrous guitars, deep and thundering drums and blistering vocals, Inhale Exhale have found their perfect formula. Should I also mention that this is their debut album?

There are not enough words in the english language to describe how explosive each passing second on this album is. Clocking in at 36 minutes and 27 seconds, there is absolutely no time wasted. My favorite tracks include "The Lost. The Sick. The Sacred.", "A Call To The Faithful", "By Grace", and "Your Walls...My Words". There are so many things about Inhale Exhale that impress me, it's not just the guitars, the drums, or the singing. But it's the way that these things mesh together and form each and every song. The harmonies are marvelous, truly leaving my mouth hanging open, salivating for more.

First impressions can make or break a band. Within that first album you are granted one chance to show the world what you can bring to the table. Most bands crack under the pressure, unable to distinguish themselves from the pack. Inhale Exhale not only broke away, they blew my fucking mind! Look for these guys to make some big news in the coming years, and who knows, you might even see them headlining a major tour.
