Twin Sister is a dream pop/chillwave band out of in Long Island, New York. Fronted by female, Andrea Estella, this band has been steadily growing since their beginnings in 2008. After releasing two EPs (‘Vampires with Dreaming Kids’ and ‘Color Your Life’), the five-piece group released their debut LP ‘In Heaven’ on September 26, 2011. It was released by Domino Records.
They have been catching national attention since 2010 after they toured with Bear In Heaven but have also opened shows for Beirut, Explosions In The Sky and & Tune-Yards. Twin Sister is considered a "soon to break" indie band by music blogs Gorilla vs, Bear and Pitchfork. Their song "Meet the Frownies" was sampled by producer Scoop Deville in "The Recipe" by Kendrick Lamar ft Dr. Dre. In 2012 played Gorilla vs. Bear II Festival in Dallas, TX and Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin.
