Rory is an acoustic, rock band with powerful vocals and hard hitting songs with heavy influences of blues, rock, and folk.

Rory began as a solo artist playing cover shows throughout the Durham Region and Toronto at restaurants and pubs. As soon as he started writing music, he was in the studio recording his first EP "Closure". While working with Producer, Theo Posthumus, it became evident that the sound of Rory was growing from a solo act, to a full band sound. Recording finished up, and "Closure" was released by the band on January 12th 2012 in Toronto.

Each of the 5 members of RORY are very skilled musicians, each with 10-20 years of playing experience. Though they are new to playing with each other, the skill level of each has made coming together as a band a perfect match.

Although being a brand new band they have experienced immediate success. Within their first two months of playing the band has successfully sold a couple hundred of their EP's, featured in the top 50 for New Indie Bands of 2012, and have been played on multiple radio stations.
