RADIOFORHELP, having just come off a stint on punk rocks most prestigious festival, the Vans Warped Tour, are relishing in the recent hype and critical acclaim theyve been receiving. After only two short years the member have already realised some of their biggest goals and dreams.
Forming in the summer in early 2004 RADIOFORHELP fused the vocal strengths of singer Michael Erickson (lead vocals), with the tenacious fury of four schoolmates Chris Webb (guitar, vocals), who was recently replaced by Justin Pelletier (formerly of Just Drive), Greg Shostak (guitar, vocals), Matthew Shostak (bass), and Russ Goosen (drums). A chance meeting at the gym led to the discovery that their musical tastes were a perfect match and before long RADIOFORHELP was launched. Their style of high-energy punk rock music, flooded with catchy, innovative guitar riffs, and power by head turning melodic vocals, stands out in this rapidly growing genre of music.
Already hugely popular online, the band recruited fans across Canada as their played their 25 date Canadian tour earlier in the year. Riding the hype created by their debut EP, and their single Dont Flatter Yourself, which has received airplay on commercial an independent radio stations in Alberta and Saskatchewan, the band plans to play a few more shows across Alberta, while they write music for their upcoming full length.
