“Our Friend & The Spiders” (OFTS) is a Montreal-based band that was formed in 2008 and consists of four musicians who try to defy conventional music boundaries.

OFTS’s EP (2008) was their first take at recording and producing in studio as a band. This was accomplished in part by winning studio time in the provincial music contest “L’Omnium du Rock Budweiser” where they ended up in the finals.

With their newly released (May 2012) first full-length album 'Walk Me Out' which they co-produced, this indie rock band has created an appealing sound that is steeped in vintage reverb, haunting fuzz and catchy rhythms. Their music is radio-friendly and transcends age groups, gender and musical tastes.

They have participated in different musical events such as: Pop Montreal, Canadian Music Week, Indie Week and Off-Rideau to name a few.
