Io Echo are working on their debut album. While this is their first official release, this year the band have already scored the Harmony Korine film collaboration with James Franco, ‘Rebel’, and after seeing them perform live Jeffrey Deitch asked the band to curate an audio visual festival at the Museum of Modern Art Los Angeles where they recently played alongside Salem, Cults, Active Child, and more. They have gone on tour as opening support for No Doubt, Bloc Party, and Nine Inch Nails for their final tour. In 2013 they will be playing the Coachella festival, and will be the opening tour support for Garbage.
