Stemming from roots in the hardcore and emo scenes, Dreaming of Eden brings a fresh take to hard music. Driving riffs and distinct back beats layered with powerful vocal and lyrical content are what set Dreaming of Eden apart. In a world of screamers the trio presents a new side to hard rock with noteworthy melodies while offering a high amount of energy that is difficult to rival. 

The group has a rapidly growing national and international fan base. They are looking for the right label to get them where they need to be!

Dreaming of Eden drummer Brandon Wright and bassist Matt Kitchen met each other during their years playing in the now dissolved rap-core band, Red Seven. Guitarist/Lead Singer Mike Longhelt met Brandon and Matt in the fall of 2000 through a job in their hometown of Manassas, VA. Following the 2001 breakup of Red Seven, Matt temporarily laid down being in a full time band and became a high-school history teacher. Brandon and Mike moved to nearby Harrisonburg, VA where Mike attended James Madison University. The two went on to write music from 2000-present, compiling songs and ideas for what would eventually become Dreaming of Eden. Following Mike's graduation from JMU, the band re-convened in April of 2005 in their hometown of Manassas, VA. Early on the trio contemplated adding other band members, but quickly came to the conclusion that their unique sound and friendship was all they needed to succeed. The band formed under the name Dreaming of Eden, a name that described who they are as individuals and as a band.
