   What\'s the inspiration behind the name Dreamfast?

It comes from a movie, The Dark Krystal. There is a beautiful moment between 2 Gelflings where they touch hands and "dreamfast." They share their pasts through telekinesis. That sounds very nerdy...

   Did you have another name or two before that? I actually tossed around "Metallica," but soon after found out that it was already taken...

   One artist you all agree on listening to growing up... we all listened to The Beach Boys, which led us to The Ramones, me and philly loved tommy lee with motley crue, and later on we fell for the grunge movement with Nirvana. we all remember those nights falling asleep to the "Bodyguard" soundtrack too... 

   Band you\'re getting sick of being compared to...Hanna Montana

   Band you never get sick of being compared to… The Ataris, Pretty Girls Make Graves

   Radiohead just set the industry on fire by allowing fans to name their price for the new release, what\'s your reaction?  I think it\'s an amazing way to distance themselves from the industry, a kind of "fuck you," very revolutionary. It\'s very honest, and it\'s amazing that they have so much faith in their music they can put themselves in such a vulnerable situation. I like that.

   What song seems to be a crowd favorite at your live shows?  our closer at the moment, The Battle. we turned it into an epic live version of the original.

   What\'s the collective bands\' favorite song off the new record?  we are about to begin recording a new new new record, and we havent picked a favorite yet. :)

   How many records have you sold? hardly any-long story

   Touring future? our hearts lie in playing live, we just got off a 1 month tour midwest-east, and had a blast. as long as we are a band, there is a tour or at least several shows coming up

   Best thing about being an Indie Band? calling the shots. owning yourself.

   Best thing about the Indie Of The Year contest?  the sex

   Worst thing "……"?  being kicked in the shins by a midget in the parking lot of a thrift store.

   What benefit do you see in having your music podcasted on Insomnia Radio?  i just got home from tour, i have no idea whats going on.
