 Biography

The soon to be newest pop sensation The Christopher Brothers will have you amazed. Even at the young ages of 15, 13, and 10, these boys write and play their own music, as well as an impressive collection of retro classics that appeal to boys and girls, young and old, parents and children alike. They are always a huge crowd pleaser at the 3rd Street Promenade, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and local fairs and festivals. They've also been featured at the Marina del Rey Summer Symphony Tribute to The Beatles and the Vancouver Wine and Jazz Festival.

Originally covering the likes of Santana, The Rolling Stones, Twisted Sister, and the Beach Boys, their original songs like "Just Another Day" and "What If?" are just as undeniably catchy. The infectious melodies of California pop have never sounded so irresistible with their fun and upbeat take on life and romance from the teen perspective. Check their website for the latest news on upcoming shows.

Charles first played guitar at age 9 and Cameron started drumming on a toy set that Ethan received one Christmas. When he broke that set, he got a more professional kit. Younger brother Ethan started on acoustic guitar at 7 but found he liked the bass better. The first time they played together as a trio was when they did a rendition of “Black Magic Woman” for their guitar teacher in late 2008. A few months later, they performed their favorite cover songs at a party at their house for family and friends. Many of these tunes (“We’re Not Gonna Take It,” “Eight Days A Week”) later became staples of their live performances.

Over the past few years, the guys have played private birthday parties, fundraisers, a Rocktoberfest event at their church, outdoor venues such as Six Flags Magic Mountain, the San Diego County Fair, Orange County Fair, Legoland and L.A. hotspots The Whiskey a Go Go and Cobalt Café. Yet they’ve also taken the initiative to completely DIY it and play regularly on the 3rd Street Promenade outdoor mall in Santa Monica. Cameron, Charles and Ethan are all accomplished actors as well. The three appeared in a local Pasadena production of “The Wiz”; Cameron played the Cowardly Lion in that and has also headlined in school productions of “Scrooge,” “Dracula” and “Beauty and the Beast.” He was voted Best Actor at his high school, and also plays on its baseball team. Ethan also has the baseball gene and has hit numerous home runs for his little league team. Charles does volunteer work and received the math award from his school.
